Ford's next salvo in the EV price wars sees the Mustang Mach-E costs drop.

To remain competitive in the electric vehicle (EV) industry, Ford recently reduced the price of the Mustang Mach-E.

Ford's all-electric performance SUV, the Mach-E, will now have a starting price of $39,974, which is a decrease of approximately $6,000.

Ford is making an effort to satisfy consumer demand and promote the Mach-E as a less expensive alternative to Tesla's EVs.

A free upgrade to the Extended Range battery, which lowers the overall cost for select Mach-E configurations by an additional $2,500,

is one of the recent price reductions.

It's obvious that Ford wants to make the Mach-E more appealing in the current EV market and draw in a different kind of customer with it.
